PSAID Competition
Cash in hand Relief on demand
For this project, I participated in a design competition for PSAID, focused on communicating why cash is the most effective form of aid during international disasters. The objective was to create a compelling poster that clearly conveyed the advantages of giving cash over physical goods. My approach centered on the role of technology, highlighting how digital tools, kiosks, and mobile platforms make cash donations more accessible, efficient, and adaptable in times of crisis.
I was selected as a finalist in the 2024 PSAID competition, where I applied my design skills to develop a public awareness campaign promoting the use of cash assistance during international disasters. The objective was to communicate a complex humanitarian concept in a clear, compelling, and emotionally resonant way. I focused on crafting a strong visual narrative supported by purposeful typography and messaging that highlighted the flexibility, efficiency, and dignity that cash aid provides compared to traditional donations. By balancing impactful visuals with concise, accessible information, the final ad was designed to quickly capture attention, build understanding, and encourage a shift in perception around how people support disaster relief effort
