The project

These drawings explore the fundamentals behind visual form: lines, ellipses, planes, cubes, spheres, and more complex objects. The selection records the construction process rather than hiding the underlying geometry.

Design direction

Light guide lines and repeated studies examine proportion, perspective, and curvature. The drawings make the relationship between a flat page and a three-dimensional subject visible.
